Grammar
We are much better at adding s, es, or ies to nouns after last week's lessons. This week we are learning about singular and plural possessive nouns. These show ownership i.e. The dog's dish was empty. vs. The dogs' dishes were empty.
Math
Multiplication is back! To help us be successful we use different strategies. Here are some of them. Think of the inverse: If 2x3=6, then 6 divided by 2 equals 3. Use the order property: 2x6=12, then 6x2=12. We will also break the problem apart into smaller parts, and look for patterns. Please study multiplication basic facts nightly.
