Week 31 :) April 26-30

As a class we didn't have time to really learn the intent behind last week's spelling words. We postponed last week's test to this Friday, April 30. The words focus on dividing words with vowels into syllables. A VCV word is divided before the consonant if its first vowel sound is long like pilot (pi-lot). A VCV word is divided after the consonant if the first vowel sound is short and followed by a consonant sound like visit (vis-it).

Homework is a two sided spelling worksheet that was handed out in class on Monday, April 26.
