Spelling: This week the objective is to write spelling words formed by adding -es, -ed, or -est to base words that end with a consonant and y. Yes, a one hundred precent on the pretest gets you an one hundred percent score on Friday's post test.

Student who at school on Monday and Tuesday this week will earn a homework pass. Why? We have been working hard to prepare for the California State Writing Prompt on Tuesday. The hard workers in class deserve this. Hopefully, the nasty flu bug will stay away.
Book Faire: The PTA is hosting a book faire at JPS this week. Our class will be going on Thursday, March 3.
