Our Valentines party is Tuesday, Feb. 14. A list was sent home Friday, February 03 listing items we would like for our party. Parents are needed for set-up and clean-up that day. The party will be from 1:45-2:40

Math: We are working with types of triangles, quadrilaterals, circles, and three-dimensional shapes. Please continue basic facts practice.
Word Work: We will take our test on words with the long e as their final sound on Tuesday. See the word list for Week 21.
On Wednesday we will examine words that end with the /j/ and /s/ sounds. These are words that end with the –dge, -ge, -age, and –ce.

Grammar: We will learn about two kinds of adjectives and the articles used with singular and plural nouns. An adjective is a word that describes a noun. The words a, an, and the are special adjectives called articles.
Writing: Students are completing their Native Californian Reports and review what makes a strong paragraph.
