Spelling this week is all about the oo sound as in tool, group, and prove. The students will be learning the spelling patterns ou and the o-consonant-e patterns that also make the oo sound.

Reading Students are ready the story Tanya's Reunion. It is a lovely realistic fiction story about a family reunion. Students will be focusing on evaluating what the story and making inferences.
Social Studies - the plan is to finish up our California Brochures. Any child that needs more time may take it home for homework on Wednesday. This will be the only homework assigned by me on Wednesday.
